Welcome to the Blog!

Hello and welcome to the new OneU blog! You might be wondering, "What is OneU?" OneU is a campus ministry at the University of Maryland, that seeks to multiply the followers of Jesus through discipleship and community. We also emphasize the importance of college students being an active part of the local church, recognizing it as God’s primary gathering place for His people to worship. We don’t see ourselves as just another campus club but as a family of believers who enjoy spending time together and, above all, loving Jesus with all of our hearts, souls, minds, and strength (Mark 12:30).

We meet weekly for small group Bible studies, known as community groups, and gather for church on Sundays. We also host occasional social events throughout the week. If you're looking for a community of fellow believers on campus, we'd love to connect with you!

We created this blog to share our thoughts and reflections on how we navigate life at a secular university. We'll offer tips on living out your faith, surviving college, and building a sense of community in a large environment. We understand how challenging it can be to be a college student, and we know that life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you're an incoming freshman or a senior, we hope this blog will uplift and encourage you in your relationship with God. No matter if you're a University of Maryland student or attending a different campus, let’s walk through this faith journey together as we navigate college life.
