Aiden Peters
Aiden is OneU's president and is a junior majoring in public policy. He has been with OneU since he first met them at a summer barbeque before his freshman year began. From the beginning, Aiden has loved the community in Christ that he has found at OneU. Some of Aiden's hobbies include playing guitar, cooking, fishing, and spending time outside with friends.
Joy Kim
Joy is a junior majoring in marketing at the Smith School of Business. From the beginning of her freshman year, she found OneU to be a warm and inviting community that she was excited to be a part of. She found that OneU was a community of people that desired to be challenged and grow together. Joy loves to spend time with friends and family, eat good food, do crafts, and journal!
Esther Ou
Esther is a junior majoring in public policy. She is grateful that God led her to OneU towards the end of her freshman year. She feels blessed that through OneU, she’s met so many genuine believers through who encourage one another to seek God more and share Him with others. Esther loves going to cafes and watching good musicals and films with friends and family.
Isabel Saffell
Izzy is in her junior year at UMD! She joined OneU immediately her freshman year and loves the community she’s found. In her free time she enjoys working out, listening to music, drawing, and board games. Some of her favorite artists are forrest frank, RIDERS, gio, and caleb gordon.
Madison Trice
Madison is a junior majoring in dietetics! She joined OneU after Nat reached out to her and made her feel so valued and welcomed. Ever since then, OneU has become her home away from home. She enjoys going to the gym, spending time with friends, going for long walks, and pink drinks!
Joe Darrow
Joseph is a senior studying Chemical Engineering. He became a regular at OneU because of the sense of community and the many strong believers he met there. In his free time Joe enjoys working out, listening to music, and watching tv or anime.
Noah Fein
Noah is a graduate student majoring in information systems at the Smith school of business who transferred in the spring of 2023. Noah joined OneU through mutual connections where he immediately felt welcomed by OneU’s community. His favorite hobbies include playing sports, hanging out with friends and cooking.
Hannah Sitther
Hannah is a senior majoring in Computer Science. She joined OneU her sophomore year of college because of the strong community of people devoted to Christ. She loves the genuineness of the believers in OneU and is grateful to the Lord for leading her here! Hannah loves to make origami, play piano, and read books.
Isabel Mathews
Isabel is a senior majoring in Finance, and she is hoping to pursue a career in law. Coming into college, she was determined to find a passionate and intentional community of believers, so she joined OneU. Isabel loves vlogging, deep conversations, playing piano, and matcha.
Cecilia Keehner
Cecilia is a junior majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice. She joined OneU at the beginning of her freshman year when some of the girls in the grade above her reached out to her and set up times to meet up. She ultimately decided that OneU was the best community for her after fall retreat where she really grew in her relationships with people and saw how deep everyone’s love for the Lord is. In her free time, she enjoys playing the guitar and piano, making coffee, hanging with her dogs and friends, and watching tv/listening to podcasts and music.
Brandon Isbell
Brandon is a junior studying Computer Science. He appreciates OneU because of its tight-knit and diverse community of genuine believers. In his free time, Brandon enjoys playing sports, working out, and playing board games.

Grace Waller
Grace Waller is a sophomore at University of Maryland majoring in Environmental Science & Technology. She ran into OneU at one of their events within the first week of her freshman year. After going to their fall retreat she fell in love with the people there and their love for Christ. Ever since then she has been a part of the OneU community. In her free time she’s outdoors!! Her hobbies include hiking, reading, finding bugs, thrifting, laying in a hammock, driving Gwenivere, and camping.
Jackie Chicas Argueta
Jackie is a sophomore and treasurer of OneU majoring in Public Health Science. From the beginning, she has been wanting to find a welcoming ministry that is fully dedicated to the Lord, it was more like OneU found her and immediately became her family. She was so excited to join this warm community who wanted to challenge each other and grow together towards the same goal as believers. In her free time, Jackie loves to play sports, spend time with friends, listen to music and go on walks!
Ryan Portillo
Ryan is a junior, currently at Montgomery College. He joined OneU in his sophomore year and hasn’t looked back since! His hobbies include playing soccer, board games, and thrifting. His favorite soccer team is Barcelona and his favorite player is Paulo Dybala
Kaya Eam
Kaya is a junior at UMD! After taking a gap year, she went to community college for two years and is now officially transferring to UMD as a geology major! She’s been coming to Oneu since 2022 and has grown so much thanks to the community here. Kaya likes to figure skate, sing, and dance!
Olivia David
Olivia is a junior majoring in Hearing and Speech Sciences. She first got connected to OneU during her freshman year through a staff member’s invitation. What drew her in was the deep love for Christ and the authentic, welcoming community she found. In her free time, Olivia enjoys card games, dancing, spending time outdoors, cooking, and reading.
Christina Simpson
Christina is a sophomore aerospace engineering major who enjoys reading, golfing, and playing piano. She wanted to find a church and join a Christian ministry on UMD’s campus and the Lord led her to Solid Rock Church and OneU!
Caleb Winters
Caleb Winters is a junior journalism major studying at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism. He is double minoring in his two favorite interests: creative writing and sociology. He intends to take his journalistic knowledge, skill, and yearning for justice to fight for the oppressed as an investigative journalist. Through OneU, Caleb has made life-long finds who share his love for Christ and yearn to live a rich, God-filled life with one another at the University of Maryland. Caleb enjoys creative writing, watching films and reading a multitude of literature such as poetry, fiction, screenplays, and history.
Ciel Williams
Ciel is a sophomore double-majoring in Biology and Religions of the Ancient Middle East. She found OneU in her first semester after Nat invited her and made her feel at home! She’s been a part of the OneU family ever since. She likes to cook, work out, sing, play piano, and write songs.
Brian Gardner
Brian is a sophomore at the University of Maryland, majoring in Information Science. He first heard about OneU through his church and instantly fell in love with the community and the way its members continually challenge each other to grow in their adoration for Christ. In his free time, Brian enjoys working out, watching movies, reading, playing basketball, and spending time with friends
Ellie Noh
Ellie is a sophomore majoring in Hearing and Speech Sciences! During her first semester, she explored several ministries before falling in love with the people and purpose at OneU. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, volunteering in her community, reading, and hanging out with her cat, Simba!
Anna Gatti
Anna Gatti is a sophomore majoring in Hearing and Speech Sciences! She found OneU after two close friends from high school also decided to join and had loved being a part of the community ever since. In her free time she loves to read. Her hobbies include singing, writing and crocheting
Alexandra Saavedra
Alexandra is a Senior at the University of Maryland majoring in International Relations. She heard of OneU through a friend in the same residential dorm where he convinced her to come to Community Groups and instantly felt drawn to this incredible environment. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, going for a walk, reading, running, taking pictures, and hanging out with friends!
Kelsey Dela Pena
Kelsey is a junior studying psychology and human development. She joined OneU after hearing about it from her church community. She fell in love with the fellowship and mission of the ministry, and she sees how much the Lord continues to pursue her as she goes through university. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys sharing and cooking meals with loved ones, drawing, and crocheting.
Audrey McQueen
Audrey is a Junior majoring in Environmental Science and Technology. She heard about OneU through the freshman connection bible study and loved the welcoming community. Outside of OneU, Audrey enjoys getting coffee, painting, and spending time outside!
Sam Lee
Sam Lee is a junior studying mechanical engineering. Upon the recommendation of some now-graduated students, he decided to check out OneU. Throughout these last couple years at UMD, he has found OneU to be a very important staple of living life as a Christian on campus while personally growing in faith. He likes to play volleyball and video games, hang out with friends, and be outside.
Jordyn White
Jordyn is a junior majoring in Communications and minoring in Human Development. She joined OneU her sophomore year after wanting to find friends who would encourage her relationship with the Lord. Jordyn enjoys painting, playing guitar, thrifting, and living an active lifestyle.
Ellie Anderson
Ellie is a junior studying Special Education and Disability Studies. She got connected through the freshman connection bible studies her first semester and ended up staying because she loved Solid Rock, OneU’s affiliated church. Ellie enjoys taking ballet classes, making music and art, hiking, and thrifting!
Joanna Sargunar
Joanna is a sophomore in Physiology & Neurobiology. She joined OneU as a freshman after a family friend introduced her to the group. From the very beginning, she found a community that encouraged one another while growing in their love for the Lord. In her free time, she enjoys her job as an EMT, listening to music, writing songs, reading, baking, and spending time with friends!
Josephine Andoh
Josephine is a junior and journalism major. She joined OneU as a freshman after being reached out to on social media. She was drawn in by OneU’s commitment to the gospel and the spiritual maturity of all of its members. In her free time, she loves reading, writing, cooking, and singing!
Kyla Wilson
Kyla is a sophomore studying Kinesiology. She joined OneU her freshman year after a freshman event. She was immediately drawn to OneU because of the amazing people who were fun to talk to but could also talk through deep theological topics. In her free time, Kyla enjoys sports, music, and hanging out with friends.
Sam McLaughlin
Sam McLaughlin is a sophomore studying mechanical engineering. He first found out about OneU through servant team during his freshman year. He really wanted a place where he could really connect with like-minded people, part of the body of Christ and God led him to OneU! He enjoys running, video gaming, and writing stories.
Owen Cucuel
Owen is a junior majoring in Public Policy, he has been with OneU since the start of his Freshman year through the Freshman Connection Bible Studies. He loves OneU because of the close knit relationships that are fostered between staff and students, as well as providing lots of room to grow in relationship with Christ. In his free time Owen can be found on the University of Maryland golf course or watching the Baltimore Ravens.
Sam Biddle
Sam is a sophomore studying mechanical engineering. He joined OneU at the beginning of his freshman year. Sam knew OneU would become his home because of how welcoming and friendly all of the members are. He loves how OneU has helped him grow closer to the Lord, and helped him develop genuine relationships with other followers of Christ. Some of his hobbies are playing guitar, watching movies, cliff jumping, and making milkshakes.
Darian Nixon
Darian is a junior majoring in Kinesiology on the pre-physical therapy track. Darian was hoping to find a Christian ministry and finally did during his second year after finding out one of his classmates was involved in OneU. During his free time he enjoys watching movies, staying active, spending time with family and friends, and trying new things!
