About Natalie
Natalie came to know God as a living and active God that offered her the pathway to salvation in the summer of 2013 on a missions trip to Minnesota. Throughout high school, she struggled with how she could be a new creation and yet still fall into sin time and time again. It wasn’t until a simple, “me too,” spoken by a friend, would help her find freedom in laying down sin at the cross rather than trying to manage sin.
As an incoming freshman, Natalie was determined to find Christ-centered community that fostered close-knit, vulnerable, and real relationships to help her grow in her faith, which led her to OneU. During that first year in college, Natalie questioned if her ideal 3-year plan of graduating and going to graduate school was really what God wanted for her and she began to look into the idea of ministry. After difficult transitions and relationship rough spots, Natalie found herself a bit confused of her calling. Natalie ended up applying to 2 ministries, figuring that God would make the decision for her, but ended up getting accepted into both. She eventually chose OneU in 2021 because she felt that there was further places to grow and confront things in her heart as she worked with OneU.
Now, this is Natalie’s 4th year on staff and she feels amazingly blessed at all the places that Lord has grown her in deeper maturity. She is excited to meet with students and play sports as well as have deep conversations. Some of her favorite sports include soccer, tennis, rock climbing, running, and flag football (just to name a few but she will play everything and anything). When Natalie isn’t playing a sport, you can probably catch her watching sports documentaries to get hyped up for sports or her favorite show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine or eating cookies.
